Happy August dear readers! Down here in Tennessee, public schools have already started back, which, even after 4 years of living in the south, I find strange. School shouldn’t start until the Wednesday after Labor Day. School shouldn’t start until Autumn. When you walk outside and smell the Autumn air, that’s when you should be heading to school. Not when it is still sweltering outside and you are choking on the 80% humidity. But anyway… welcome back to the newsletter. It feels like the last two weeks have just flown by and I’m actually in a bit of a slump for writing, so I’m going to do some self-care and make this issue links to other places on the internet that I think are important and/or interesting. Thank you for your patience as I get back into the groove of this writing thing and I hope you will do something for yourself this week as well. Something that helps you relax and regroup. Thank you again for reading and enjoy the links!
