It’s Spring
So much has happened since the last post. Due to the great deal of fuckery that is ensuing with the United States government, I’ve decided to make the Library Research Notes newsletter monthly, for the time being. I need to protect my peace and writing weekly or bi-weekly was not helping me do that. Thank you for hanging in there as we navigate this difficult time in the history of the world, together.
This month, I’m going to keep it short with some links from around the web to help resist, rest, and reconnect.
Today is Transgender Day of Visibility
It is a fraught time in the United States, but the fight for liberation has always been at the forefront of existence for the trans community. Now, more than ever, we need to be actively supporting our trans siblings to ensure their safety, security, and survival. Here in Tennessee, we have been fighting against the super-majority’s wish to erase LGBTQIA++ people from public life, but in the last few months that fight has also moved to the Federal level. To learn more about the legislation that is being pushed by MAGAheads in the legislature, click here: Trans Legislation Tracker and to join the fight, click here: Human Rights Campaign
